Paul started playing drums at the age of fifteen quickly linking up with fellow musicians at school to form various bands, by the time he reached his late teens he had played most of the major gigs around the country most notable of these being The Marquee, The Music Machine and Dingwells all in London.

Dozens of recording sessions followed in various studios up and down the country culminating in a record deal, signing with a subsidiary label of BMG based in Los Angeles called Zoo Entertainment.

The band was called Blue Train a single was released that reached No 46 in the Billboard chart and an Album followed, the single “All I Need Is You” was also used on an episode of Bay Watch.

After returning to the UK he played around with various projects always on the look out for that something special and on a very rainy night in Hoyland WMC he found it HIGHLY STRUNG
